| Welcome to the Basic V page! What is Basic V? Spawned from the ashes of The Basic System, Basic V brings your gaming experience to a much more exciting level. Designed as a video game emulator for Pen and Paper games, Basic V offers complex, yet easy to use game mechanics. Players use the following Primary Stats: -Intelligence -Agility -Might -Spirit -Movement Hit Points and XP are replaced with the Health Bar and Power Bar. This offers the greatest emulation experience allowing players to pull their characters right from a video game and into their Pen and Paper RPG. Not just that, but the groups of 5 keep the math down and the fun up front. Instead of the boring D20 or the classic 3d6, Basic V heads into the realm of percentile dice. So break out your D100 and get ready. Education is also an important part of Basic V. Each campaign should offer Education packets to get players on track. People who wish to start from scratch will quickly learn that staying in school or training works much better than goofing around with the skills.
